Amy Lauren survived Mississippi College twice to receive her degrees in music, and currently lives in Florida with her wife. She authored Prodigal (Bottlecap Press), God With Us (Headmistress Press), and She/Her/Hers (Headmistress Press). Her poetry has appeared in The Gay & Lesbian Review, Cordite Poetry Review, New Orleans Review, and elsewhere.
